The Roland Fantom G series are powered by Roland's Groundbreaking New Synthesis Chip.The Fantom-G comes in a choice of three different keyboards.Ofcourse there are differences but the one common factor is Roland's new sound generator chip. Roland has never created a powerful chip like this one , and because of this chip it's now possible to play dynamic 4-tone Patches with a polyphony of 128-voice.The waveform capacity can be expanded to 1 GB when all the expansions are present.There is no other Synthesizer on the market with this kind of memory size today. The internal wave ROM has also been doubled with high quality sounds.

High Quality Dynamic Sounds:The Roland engineers sqeezed everything out of this new chip.They wanted to use every new possibility, and it worked out great.The Fantom G series comes with many new high quality sounds. The Fantom G6 will give you brand new string sections, realistic and fat sounding drums, nylon sting guitars with a rich sounds and a wonderful sounding 88-key acoustic piano.This new piano uses multi-samples in stereo with a various velocity range. The piano sound has been build from 700 individual samples and like most new sounds , they have been recorded in top class studio's through the best available gear...and can be heard!!.

Thanks to the power the this new sound chip bring it's possible to record long and short samples.The Fantom-X can handle audio the way a digital recorder does.The Fantom comes with a sample ram of 544 MB.The realtime Timestretch , Wave Edit and Chop functions allow you to shape your audio any way you like it.The sample data can be stored in .WAV or .AIFF format to a PC Card with a data capacity of up to 1 GB. . .

A great feature of the Fantom G6 is the Skip Back Sampling function.Everything you play, will be recorded. All your performances can be retrieved and turned into a sample.This function was first introduced on the Fantom S and is very popular among musicians because the ideas never get lost. Another popular function is the Dynamic Pad Bank.The have been redisigned for an even better feeling. Each pad is now aftertouch- and velocity sensitive and the polyphony has been doubled.With these new pads it's now possible to trigger your drum tracks more natural and more dynamical.

Audio-MIDI Workstation Whether sequencing MIDI tracks, triggering samples from the Dynamic Pad Bank, or even recording audio directly to RAM, the Fantom-G Series makes putting it all together a seamless process. Lay down a drum track by combining the internal drum sounds with loops, which can automatically sync to tempo via realtime timestretch. Then record some keyboard parts as MIDI and finish your song by tracking a guitar or vocal as audio. The high-resolution sequencer boasts up to 400,000-note capacity and supports Standard MIDI File import and export.

Color LCD Screen: The Fantom-G6 is one of the first Synthesizers that comes with a color LCD screen.Many musicians spend hours of programming.Fantom's color screen is very comfortable to work on and navigating through the menus and seperate screens becomes more a pleasure.lor LCD screen. Studio Effects and Mastering Tools:Onboard effects include separate reverb and chorus , plus three multi-effects processors loaded with sound sculpting tools ideal for creative sampling. These include algorithms like COSM® Guitar Amp Modeling, Lo-Fi processing, tempo-synced delay, Slicer, Isolator, multiple effects chains and more. When you're ready to mix down, simply switch on the dedicated Mastering processor with multi-band compression for tight, punchy mixes.

The onboard USB an be used as a Midi Interface so no external interface is needed, or it can be used to import or export audio files.It's now very easy to export your production from the Fantom G6 to your PC for burning an audio cd or remastering with your DAW.
